As teacher educators and technology researchers who have been critically examining, researching, and using current and emerging technologies, including GenAI tools, for more than a decade, Trust and Maloy offer five action-based recommendations for addressing key ethical issues related to GenAI in K–12 settings, while engaging teachers and students in thinking critically and making informed decisions regarding the use of GenAI for teaching and learning.
While the focus is on K-12, there review is quick and to the point and you can use these in your classroom when talking about AI Ethics.

23 Oct. 2023. MIT Technology Review. Melissa Heikkilä writes about a tool (Nightshade) that allows artists to "poison" images by manipulating the pixels that make up the image. When large language models are trained using these poisoned images, the models cannot produce the intended prompt.
